FROM AI TO LOVE SONGS
My Upcoming Concert Premieres & Performances
Dear Friends,
Last month, I debuted my newest commissioned piece, “The Birth of AI,” exploring artificial intelligence and its implications through performance art. This month brings a change of pace as I premiere “ANAHATA (The Heart Chakra),” my new guitar and cello concerto celebrating love, commissioned by the Hartford Symphony for Boyd Meets Girl. The piece premieres on an extraordinary day for me: February 9th, my 46th birthday! I will be in attendance, so if you’re in the area, please hear the music and celebrate life with me!
Upcoming Performances
I’m thrilled to share the stage with my father, Sergio Assad, at two venues. Here are our upcoming shows:
- Feb 16 – La Jolla, San Diego, at The Conrad Hall.
- Feb 28 – Orlando, Florida, at Valencia College.
I am also ecstatic to go back to one of my favorite places, THE CLARICE hall at the University of Maryland, where I will perform with the Wind Ensemble on some Beatles songs arranged by Berio and my piece “AMAZONIA SEM LEI” honoring the Amazon. AMAZONIA SEM LEI was commissioned by MIT in 2023.
I hope you’ll join me at one of these extraordinary concerts next month as I bring to life these unique new works spanning technology, love, and the wonders of nature. As always, thank you for supporting my musical journey!
With much love,
— Clarice.
