Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Residency

I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and write a new work exploring one of our time’s most fascinating and challenging subjects: Artificial Intelligence. With the development of AI technology and its rapidly changing pace, society is already beginning to experience significant disruptions in various fields. This paradigm shift has prompted me to explore Artificial Intelligence by constructing a new musical work with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. I’m excited to have this opportunity to use electronic musical instruments, wearables, and AI software to create a piece that questions these dramatic developments that will shape our global future. I hope that Artificial Intelligence doesn’t just passively follow us but actively helps us understand its implications while providing discourse on potential solutions.
