Magnetic trance is a work that combines hints of minimalism with special sonic effects to enhance its semi-hypnotic state, which never actually comes to exist since it is interjected by “stressed out” moments, shifting the mood of the piece to other emotional states. Special sound effects are produced by the voice and the body and utilize some extended techniques for the guitar. Magnetic Trance was written to accommodate a variety of proficiency levels.
