I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I’m the Composer in Residence for Concerts on the Slope‘s 2025-26 season in Park Slope, Brooklyn! Over the course of this incredible year, audiences will experience SEVEN different works from my catalog — a true musical journey exploring diverse styles, textures, and stories:
Z Sonata (September 14) Synchronous (October 5) Cinematheque (November) Canções da America | Sephardic Suite | 4 Scenes | Chronicles of Ghosts
Each piece will be paired beautifully with works by Mendelssohn and other extraordinary composers, performed by some of New York’s finest chamber musicians. This series is a dream come true — to have so much of my music explored in depth, in one season, in such an intimate and welcoming space.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Benjamin Larsen, the visionary Artistic Director and cellist who founded Concerts on the Slope, for this extraordinary opportunity and for his dedication to championing living composers. Thank you, Benjamin, and to the entire Concerts on the Slope team for your commitment to making chamber music accessible and vibrant in the Brooklyn community. This means the world to me!
📍 St. John’s Episcopal Church, Park Slope, Brooklyn 🎟️ Monthly concerts, Sundays at 3 PM | Season runs September 2025 – June 2026
