What a bittersweet day this was! As happy as I was to be in Italy and enjoying every second of it with the performances and workshops, on the 29th of July, my piece Chronicles of Ghosts was premiered on Beaver Island by Martha Guth and the Lincoln Trio. It was the first time I wrote a libretto and incorporated narrative into the music. I am so proud of this work, and yet I won’t get to see it!
